I help Hong Kong residents master their money.
After 14 years in financial education, I’ve learned that budgeting isn’t about restriction — it’s about clarity, confidence, and making your money work for you in a city where every dollar counts.
How I Got Here
I studied economics at HKU because I wanted to understand how money moves. Numbers fascinated me. But sitting in a bank for three years taught me something different — people weren’t confused about finance because they were bad with numbers. They were confused because nobody had explained it to them in a way that actually mattered.
I remember working with a customer who earned HK$80,000 monthly but felt broke every month. She wasn’t spending recklessly. She’d never seen a budget that made sense for her life — high rent, elderly parents to support, student loan, saving for marriage. The generic advice she’d read online didn’t fit. That’s when I realized the real problem.
Areas of Specialization
My work focuses on creating practical, sustainable financial strategies that work within Hong Kong’s unique economic reality.
Budgeting Fundamentals
Not generic spreadsheet budgeting. Real strategies for Hong Kong households managing high rent, variable expenses, and multiple financial obligations simultaneously.
Personal Finance Management
Building sustainable money habits that actually stick. From tracking expenses to making informed decisions about debt, savings, and long-term planning.
Emergency Fund Planning
In Hong Kong’s fast-moving economy, an emergency fund isn’t optional. I help families determine realistic targets and create achievable savings plans.
Financial Education Workshops
Community-based learning across Hong Kong’s 18 districts. Interactive sessions that make financial concepts accessible, relevant, and actionable for diverse audiences.
What I Believe About Money
Practical Over Perfect
I don’t teach theoretical finance. I teach what actually works in a city where rent consumes 30-40% of income, where family obligations are real, and where one medical emergency can derail months of savings. My strategies are built on Hong Kong realities.
Clarity Creates Confidence
Most people aren’t bad with money — they’ve just never seen their full financial picture. Once you know exactly where your money goes, you can actually make choices instead of just reacting to bills.
No Shame, Only Solutions
I’ve worked with high-earners who felt broke and modest-income families with solid savings plans. Financial stress doesn’t discriminate. We work with where you are, not where you think you should be.
Knowledge is Power
Financial literacy shouldn’t be a luxury. Everyone deserves to understand their own money. I’m committed to making financial education accessible across all communities in Hong Kong.
